Part-Time Porter/Groundskeeper - Apartment Community in North Little Rock, AR

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time position in property maintenance? Our North Little Rock apartment community is seeking a reliable Porter/Groundskeeper to keep our property beautiful, safe, and inviting! This role is responsible for the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, and other common areas. You'll also play an important role in preparing apartments for new residents. If you have prior maintenance experience and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you!

Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain community cleanliness and appearance according to set standards, including grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, leasing office, pools, and common areas.
• Assist in preventative maintenance tasks, such as HVAC filter changes, storm drain and sewer cleanouts, and upkeep of mechanical systems.
• Help with landscaping to keep our community looking great year-round.
• Comply with operating, safety policies, and Fair Housing laws.
• Walk the grounds regularly to ensure cleanliness and deliver notices as needed.
• Complete all other assigned duties to support a well-maintained property.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience in groundskeeping or property maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills and dedication to creating a high-quality living environment for our residents.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
• Able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
