PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
1. Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
2. Unload and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory accuracy.
3. Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer requirements.
4. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
5. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packaging materials.
6. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
7. Assist in maintaining security and safety standards within the warehouse.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status, issues, and potential improvements.
9. Follow company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality standards.
10. Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance job performance and productivity.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
