Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation Yes - This is a safety/security sensitive position for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment. JOB OBJECTIVE: To perform tire repair and related maintenance services and responds to road service calls to various locations to repair and replace flat tires on City of Little Rock fleet vehicles and equipment to include dozers, excavators, forklifts and trailers for the Department of Fleet Services. Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThese knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of grade school or vocational technical school and one (1) year of experience in the repair and maintenance of tires for various vehicle types, including heavy equipment, truck and automobile or a related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.CAREER LADDER REQUIREMENT: This classification is eligible for career ladder progression to a Tire and Lubrication Technician II after three (3) years of experience as a Tire and Lubrication Technician I.
