Grounds & Light Maintenance

Grounds & Light Maintenance is one of the most important jobs for maintaining community housing properties in a safe, attractive, and comfortable condition for our residents. Gorman & Company is looking for an experienced full time Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician who is committed to providing first class groundskeeping and light maintenance services as part of a collaborative maintenance team at our property in Little Rock, AR.

A day in the life of a Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician:

* Work with our maintenance team to perform grounds maintenance such as lawn services, maintaining shrubs and gardens, spraying insecticides and clean-up.

* Outdoor building maintenance - painting, light bulbs, install and/or maintain fences.

* Assist outside contractors and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

* Assist in supplies inventory control and upkeep of all ground's equipment.

* Maintains watering and drainage systems.

* Attends all instructional classes conducted by management.

What do I need to qualify to be a Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician?

* Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license.

* Previous grounds keeping / landscaping / maintenance experience required.

* Excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to operate lawn equipment.

* Must be able to read work orders / service requests.

* Good safety habits.

* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

* Dependability and regular attendance.
