Working Hours: 7:00am-7:00pm days vary and work as needed
Summary:
Powerhouse Operator is responsible for performing a variety of critical tasks including
troubleshooting and repairing multiple buildings/facilities. Has knowledge of high pressure boilers
and chilled water production systems, potable water systems and pumps. To be able to read and
record and monitor operating conditions on meters, gauges and automatic recording devices
including low voltage controls, pneumatic controls. Monitors Air Handlers in the building along
with room temperatures and airflows of spaces. Understanding and monitoring Cooling Towers.
Ensuring completion of assigned preventive maintenance tasks and coordinating specific craft
activities with other Facilities Management team members.
Other information:
•Education - High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
•Licenses- Arkansas State Board Boiler License or acquire within the first year of employment
•Experience - Two (2) years' experience in building/facilities maintenance and/or HVAC
maintenance. (Preferred)
•Experience -Maintenance repairs, familiar with safety procedures and trained in safe operation of
building maintenance equipment and the handling of related chemicals, such as
solvents/degreasers.
•Coordination of repairs/work in departments, report status to involved parties.
•Trouble-Shooting and Repairing - Determine root causes of operating errors and repair facilities
equipment or systems using necessary tools.
•Ability to provide legible, detailed and accurate information on work orders/preventative
maintenance forms.
•Completes maintenance tasks, facility preventative and corrective maintenance work orders.
•Maintains facility areas including patient rooms and common areas.
•Maintains records, updates CMMS documentation, required maintenance logs, documents,
manuals, drawings, PM logs.
•Ability to provide legible, detailed and accurate information on work orders/preventative
maintenance forms.
•Report to supervisor on a regular basis (daily) on conditions relative to general operations, safety
and day to day activities in the facility.
•Attends daily huddles with the team during shift.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
