Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Dynamics 365 Developer/Development Lead to manage our FCMT Sustainment and Development Team. This position is full time and fully remote.

Responsibilities

This position is for a Development Lead role on our FCMT Team. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of developers in a supervisory role, being SME for the system and assisting with sustainment and enhancement development tasks. This person will build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as Dynamics 365, Power BI etc. in an Azure environment. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language.

  • Development Lead role including supervising a team of developers and testers

  • Become SME for FCMT application, providing expertise, advice and system knowledge to PjM and customer

  • Designs and codes applications following specifications using Dynamics 365, PowerBI/ Power Automate reporting etc. (Take out etc. - too vague) and ADD: App Services or ASP.Net Web services, and PowerApps.

  • Guide a team of Developers towards successful project delivery. 

  • Provide leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. 

  • Maintain high standards of excellence within the team by establishing good practices and habits. 

  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans. 

  • Assist BA team in preparing reports, manuals, operational procedures and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of the project. 

  • Integrate with all necessary applications, working alongside those system development team. 

  • Assist the team in integration testing of the system integrations.  

  • Proactively communicate and coordinate with various internal and external project stakeholders. 

  • Analyzes detailed system factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and alternative methods of problem resolution.  

  • Participates in code reviews and Sprint Reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to contract deliverables and program specifications. 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)  

  • Expertise in developing and sustaining and application in Dynamics365

  • Analytical and investigation skills. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision. 

  • Experience supervising a team of developers/engineers with proven leadership skills. 

  • Experience with Agile Methodology and Scrum Processes. 

  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle. 

  • Experience working with Azure.

  • Experience with code versioning and project management tools. (e.g. Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Teams etc.) 

  • Demonstrated experience in a remote work environment. 

  • Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US. 

  • Clearance Required: Suitability/Public Trust

Preferred Skills and Experience ** **

  • Experience with VA and/or other Federal Agencies.

  • Understanding of the VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP) project management methodology.

  • Experience in Power BI

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
