Lakewood United Methodist Church seeks a full-time (average 30-40 hours/week) Director of Children's Ministries. Lakewood UMC is a vibrant church in North Little Rock, AR, with multiple worship services and numerous opportunities for discipleship. The ideal candidate will work well with Lakewood UMC's staff and congregation and be a team player in fulfilling the mission of children's ministries. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, an energetic personality, and self-motivation.

Qualifications include:

Love for Christ and working with others, especially children

Must be able to exercise initiative and judgment as an independent worker

Excellent communication abilities

Demonstrated leadership skills

Highly organized

Bachelors Degree preferred

Minimum of three years of experience preferred
