ASU-Beebe is seeking an adjunct Instructor of Nutrition to begin teaching in Fall, August 2025. ASU-Beebe, a two-year residential community college part of the Arkansas State University System, is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidate(s) interested in future part-time teaching opportunities in the following academic disciplines:
a. Nutrition

The successful candidate will possess an advanced knowledge of nutrition and Microsoft Office Suite software; provide consistent, quality teaching. Courses may be taught on any of the ASU Beebe campuses, with night and Saturday classes possible, and could include face-to-face, zoom, internet assisted and online instruction. Instructors may be asked to teach up to (9) credit hours per semester.

Masters Degree in Nutrition or other field specializing in Nutrition (MS) and be a Registered Dietitian (RD). One-year teaching experience. Masters in Nutrition (MS) degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours of Biology may be considered.

$650 per credit hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
