Position Summary:
Position is located on the ASU - Beebe CampusThe instructor will teach ECH/ELED and MLED methods and foundation education courses, Middle-Level programmatic courses, and supervise Field Experiences and Interns in K-8 classrooms.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teaching 15 hour load per semester, including supervision of interns and field experiences; courses reflect foundational and methods courses for Elementary and Middle Level teacher education; online teaching will be expected
Advising
Coordinating the Beebe A-State Teacher Education Program
Serving on committees
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
The ability to work well with students, faculty, and public school teachers and administratorsInterpersonal skills needed for working with college students, particularly non-traditional students

Monday - Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PMAdditional hours as requested and/or neededRegular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Master's Degree in Elementary Education, Middle Level Education, or fields closely associated to teachingThree (3) years of successful teaching experience as a public school classroom teacher in some of grades K-8
