We have projects all across the Gulf Coast, including Louisiana & Mississippi.Position Overview Kiewit Foundations District is seeking motivated and skilled Project Engineers to join our team in the Gulf Coast region, primarily in Louisiana and Mississippi. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and technical aspects of construction projects, leading a team of field and cost engineers. You will serve as the main communication link between the construction manager and the team regarding cost, revenue, and cash flow. Our expertise includes a wide range of specialty foundation construction and ground improvement solutions. We serve markets such as transportation, power, water/wastewater, mining, building, industrial, oil, gas, and chemical industries. Backed by 135 years of construction and engineering experience as part of Kiewit, our rapidly growing foundations division specializes in drilled shafts, micro piles, driven piles, auger cast-in-place piles, soil mixing, support of excavation, anchors, tie-backs, stone columns, and other geotechnical solutions.Responsibilities Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing foundation construction projects.Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and team members to ensure project success.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.Perform project scheduling.Manage revenue, costs, and cash flow.Oversee temporary engineering and permanent design management.Ensure quality control.Handle project closeout and client relations.Assist in operations planning.Administer contracts and subcontracts.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent).5+ years of experience in construction or engineering.Preferably, experience with augered cast-in-place (ACIP) piles, though not required.Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.Experience managing engineers.Ability to analyze engineering plans, specifications, and contracts.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.Motivated with a passion for excellence and initiative.Strong work ethic and commitment to doing the job right the first time.Demonstrated ethics and integrity.Passion for safety and ensuring a safe work environment.Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.Willingness to travel and relocate within the Gulf Coast region as needed.Other Requirements Reliable attendance.Ability to work productively and meet deadlines.Effective communication and professionalism with all stakeholders.Perform work safely, following all instructions and policies.Work during normal hours, with overtime and weekend work as required.Work at various locations with varying conditions.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including top-tier medical, dental, and vision plans, wellness programs, life insurance, disability, retirement plans with matching, and generous paid time off.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
