Endpoint Solutions Technician

Summary

The Endpoint Solutions Technician manages multi-location Windows environments in both retail and cultivation locations. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for endpoint devices such as desktops, laptops and/or other devices that may be implemented.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages lifecycle of endpoints (from deployment to decommissioning), ensuring consistency and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Develops and implements automation scripts and tools to streamline endpoint provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Requires expertise in Windows, Intune, Autopilot, Enterprise Patching, PKI/Certificates, Azure Active Directory, virtualization, and scripting or other automated task implementations.
  • Configures and maintains endpoint management systems Intune or other MDM applications.
  • Implements endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, encryption, firewalls, and patch management.
  • Conducts regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoots security incidents related to endpoints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Integrates server automation processes to secure infrastructure environment.
  • Implements and manages tools for real-time monitoring and protection against threats like ransomware and malicious code.
  • Leads the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of security solutions for complex projects.
  • Performs quarterly security audits of environment and make necessary changes and implementations.
  • Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems. 24/7 on-call rotation is mandatory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, Administration, Operations, and Software Support.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, current threat landscape, Linux, firewall and proxy technologies, forensic techniques, networking fundamentals, penetration techniques, encryption/cryptography technologies, and malware operation.
  • Experience in console management, server administration, troubleshooting, malware analysis, vulnerability remediation, data analytic reporting, and incident handling
  • Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check
  • Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.
  • Must perform under high pressure situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time. Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
