Protect staff, patients, and visitors by responding to calls for assistance in a timely manner. Patrol the facility and grounds by foot or vehicle, monitor security alarms and dispatch officers promptly to locations where needed. Observe and report suspicious activities or behavior. Report and document all accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety/ fire hazards and other security related situations Investigate security breaches and conduct follow-up investigations. Qualifications. High school diploma/ GED Required. Six (6) months experience as security officer in a hospital or healthcare setting, prior law enforcement or military service; OR - One (1) year experience as a security officer required. Current Arkansas Drivers License with clean driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment.
