Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for executing human capital initiatives, providing internal customer support, driving divisional excellence, and process improvement.

The incumbent interacts and influences throughout the organization, requiring HR operational knowledge to gain credibility with management. They partner with individual business units by attending and presenting at staff meetings as needed. Daily contact with employees at all levels, outside organizations, vendors, and external applicants is expected.

Requirements

This role is onsite and based in Little Rock, AR

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Alternatively, five (5) years' experience in an exempt-level HR role.

Licensing/Certification: HR generalist certification through SHRM or comparable agency preferred; if not certified, must obtain within two years of employment (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).

Experience: Minimum five (5) years' experience across multiple HR disciplines; minimum three (3) years resolving complex HR issues; knowledge of relevant employment laws; project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate compensation, benefits, and worker's compensation issues
  • Review disability and accommodation requests under ADA and other laws
  • Consult on learning and development initiatives
  • Partner with management to develop HR processes and tools
  • Provide HR guidance and support to business units
  • Generate reports and data-backed solutions as needed

Certifications

Preferred: PHR or SPHR from HR Certification Institute or SHRM.

Security Requirements

Ensure confidentiality and security of records, adhering to company policies.

Segregation of Duties

Follow guidelines to prevent errors or irregularities.
