Federal Work Study - Student Worker

The Library is seeking (3) Federal Work Study students at 10 hours each per week for the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 terms. Duties include: shelving and pulling materials (i.e. books, AV, periodicals), assisting full-time employees with nights and weekend hours; assisting patrons (student and non-student) with computer and printer help.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Basic reasoning skills, Microsoft and computer knowledge a plus.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
