Position Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• Experience as a day porter or custodian, with school experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned areas daily, including sweeping, mopping, wiping, disinfecting, etc.
• Empty all trash containers daily.
• Check and stock restrooms during class changes and lunches.
• Clean and mop restrooms as needed.
• Dust horizontal surfaces weekly.
• Maintain floors in a clean and attractive condition during the day.
• Assist in the cafeteria, cleaning and emptying trash as needed.
• Keep the building and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways, parking lot, and playgrounds, free of trash and litter.
• Report repairs needed to supervisors.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, requesting needed items.
• Follow all safety rules and proper procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
