Job Title: School Cafeteria Substitute Worker

Hours: Monday-Friday,30-40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking School Cafeteria Substitute Worker to join our team. This position is part to full-time and on-call, providing support in the school cafeteria as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe food service environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks

Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly and professional manner

Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment

Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cookware

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Support cafeteria staff as needed to ensure efficient daily operations

Qualifications

Ability to work Monday-Friday on an on-call basis (30 - 40 hours per week)

Previous food service experience preferred, but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety

Reliable transportation

Must pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as dishwashing and food prep
