Technical Administrative AssistantCACI is hiring a Technical Administrative Assistant to assist the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Overhaul Management Team (OMT) during ship maintenance periods in shipyards. This is a PART TIME ON CALL opportunity. When on assignment to designated locations, you will be required to support the task on full time basis at client's site.Responsibilities:Provide basic administrative and technical support.Use the MSC Shipboard Automated Maintenance Management System (SAMM) to assist with ship repairsProvide general administrative assistance in shipyard office and on the vesselCollect, file and store paper documents in files and organize paper and electronic files for fast retrievalArrange appointments, meetings, and prepare meeting spaces for usePrepare and format presentationsDuplicate, collate, roll, and bind or fasten documents and drawings for distributionScan documents, and correct scanned documents for modification and reusePrepare and distribute reports and compile dataMaintain consumable supply inventory and report low levels to the contractorCoordinate and track administrative correspondenceMaintain local SAMM network and train OMT on SAMM usageEstablish and maintain a point-of-contact listEnter Condition Found Reports into SAMM and track the response by the MSCREPTrack status of Contract Change Orders (CCO) and update OMT on daily statusDevelop and maintain spreadsheets for MSC OMTUse SAMM for the planning, research, execution, and maintenance of records across the ashore and afloat enterpriseEnter data and draft reports provided by shipyard, ship's force, contractors, and members of the OMT into SAMMReview weekly status reports and SITREPS for accuracy against data in SAMMPrepare and distribute meeting minutes on behalf of the OMT, compile weekly reports from meeting minutes and other SAMM actions including recording actions into SAMM database to include Port Engineering NotebookMaintain security, confidentiality, and non-disclosure of contract and technical information and documents encounteredDeliver and pickup documents and materials within the shipyard wearing personal protective equipmentKey Skills:Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Collaborate with customers and third-party contractors.Work Details:Part Time on Call position - Full Time when on travel supporting assignments covering a 2-month period.No remote work options available.When on an assigned project, all work will be performed at client sites on full time basis paid hourly for all hours worked on location.Possible overtime requiredCandidates can reside anywhere in the U.S., but all work will be performed in-person at the customer site.Continental US sites include:Charleston, SCVallejo, CANorfolk, VAMobile, ALBoston, MAPhiladelphia, PASan Diego, CAPortland, ORQualifications Required:Must be able to obtain Secret clearanceMust be able to travel 100% of the duration of the assignmentAbility to walk up and down ladders and walk long distances onboard a vessel and in a shipyardAbility to lift to 25-pound packagesRead and write in fluent EnglishIntermediate proficiency Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDesired:Active SECRET clearance highly desirableSAMM training and experiencePrevious job-related experience (government/military or private)Safety trainingPay Range: $51,800-$106,200CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
