A company is looking for a Referral Specialist for the YM CARE Center.Key ResponsibilitiesActs as the central point of contact for patient referrals, coordinating and scheduling ambulatory referrals for the appropriate specialtyServes as the main contact for new patient referrals and provides scheduling information to patients and referring providersOversees administrative activities and ensures compliance with departmental policies and proceduresRequired QualificationsSix years of related work experience, with four years in the same job family at a lower level, or an Associate's degree with related experienceHigh school level education or equivalent combination of experience and educationExperience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice is preferredProficient in medical terminology and electronic medical record systemsProven record of exemplary attendance, punctuality, and reliability
