We are seeking dedicated Production Floor Operators for our client in Conway, AR. This position involves working on the plating line, handling school and institutional furniture such as desks and chairs. The role includes both racking and unracking responsibilities, ensuring smooth operation of the plating process and final product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Rackers:

• Load products onto the plating line, ensuring proper placement on frames before racking on yokes.
• Handle school and institutional furniture, typically weighing under 20 lbs.
• Secure products using copper hooks inserted into designated holes.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, loading 4 desk sets or 8 stack chairs every 70-second cycle.
• Ensure accuracy in racking holes and carrier placement for effective plating.

• Unload products from the plating machine onto a conveyor belt in a timely manner.
• Remove copper hooks from furniture and either store them properly or leave them on carriers.
• Work efficiently to unload 4 desks or 8 chairs every 70-second cycle.
• Inspect finished products to ensure proper plating quality.
• Install glides or plastic caps onto desk and chair legs using light hammering techniques.
• Check for level installation and securely load finished products onto transport racks.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Physical ability to lift and maneuver lightweight furniture pieces repetitively.
