This position offers hands-on experience, where you will play a key role in operating and maintaining a fast-paced plating line. Whether you're managing products as a Racker or Unracker, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure operational success.

Key Responsibilities

Rackers:
As a Racker, your primary responsibility is loading products, such as school and institutional furniture like desks and chairs, onto the plating line. Items typically weigh under 20 lbs and are pre-loaded on the floor before being secured onto yokes with copper hooks. You'll use precision and focus to ensure proper placement, which is critical for effective processing.

• Load 4 desk sets or 8 stackable chairs every 70 seconds in collaboration with another loader.
• Secure items using copper hooks, ensuring proper alignment and safety.
• Maintain attention to detail for accurate and efficient loading.

Unrackers:
As an Unracker, you will focus on unloading products from the plating line and ensuring they meet quality standards. This includes:

• Removing copper hooks and storing them appropriately.
• Placing unloaded items on the conveyor belt for further processing.
• Inspecting each product for plating quality and adding glides or plastic caps to furniture legs using light hammering tools.
• Collaborate with another unloader to handle 4 desks or 8 chairs every 70 seconds.

Qualifications
